Based on Michelle's latest book, Becoming the Writer You Already Are, this retreat teaches the Writing Metaphor, a simple technique for surfacing the thoughts and feelings that keep scholars from writing. By the end of the retreat, each participant will have identified the barriers that disrupt their writing and uncovered unique solutions for overcoming those barriers.

By the end of the retreat, they’ll have made meaningful, measurable progress on their manuscript. And they’ll be able to quickly decide what to focus on every time they sit down to write.
